FieLD TRiP!!!

Last Friday Brandon was off, so we took the kids on a field trip to the McWane Science Center in Birmingham. The boys has a BLaST!!! We spent several hours there, and they still weren't ready to leave. We bought a membership, though, so we'll be able to go back often.

First up...

LaYiNG on a BeD of NaiLS!!!!








This part was really neat...depending on where you stood in the house, you would look either really big or really small.


We built an arch out of blocks...Brandon's side turned out much better than mine :)


They have a shark & ray tank...Ian & I actually touched the sharks!!!



The boys thought the robots were pretty cool -


We looked for & at Dinosaur fossils -








They had a huge Lite Bright set up on the wall. The boys loved it! I think Santa may need to bring some of these to our house this year...

This little girl loves anything with a steering wheel! After I took her out of the truck, she promptly climbed back in so that she could "drive".



Unfortunately, my battery died after this picture. There was more playing to be had by the kids, though. We also went to the iMax, which was a hit with some but not so much with others. I'll let you decide which ones DiDN'T like it :)
